“Kids need great books. With schools and libraries closed, many children are in need of those books right now. So, on Saturday, April 4, we will provide new and gently-used books to kids of all ages. Books have been collected and cleaned to conform to social distancing guidelines and to prevent germs from spreading.” – The Drive for Children’s Books.

Families may request books through this website. Books will be cleaned and packaged for drivers to pick up on, Saturday, day of the drive.  
Thousands of books donated over the last week. There are more books than the organizer will be able to post on the site, so they ask interested families to submit children's ages and giveaway bags based on age will be created.

Interested in Donating Books? 

To donate books to the drive, visit the wish list to select new books or text "books" to 52886 to arrange for donation pick-up. Amazon books must be ordered to arrive by Friday, April 3. Orders made after that date will be donated at a later time. ALL USED BOOKS GIVEN AWAY ON APRIL 4 MUST ARRIVE BEFORE APRIL 3. Any books collected after that day will be cleaned and stored for a later give-away.
