Republishing Guidelines:
1. Credit NOISE for the piece you republish, with the following byline, “By [Author Name],NOISE Omaha”. *Include a hyperlink to the NOISE team page, when publishing online.
2. When publishing online, link to the original article within the first paragraph.
3. You may either publish an excerpt (with a link to the full article on the NOISE website) on the same day as the original NOISE publish date, OR the full article (with all images) five days after the original NOISE publish date.
4. Do not remove any text of the original story. But you may add additional reporting that localizes or contextualizes the story for your audience. When doing so, please include the note,“Additional reporting by [Outlet Reporter]”,and italicize your additions.
5. At the bottom of the article, include the following: NOISE is an Omaha based Black-led news outlet focused on recapturing the narrative of Omaha’s historically Black communities and Black Nebraskans. Drawing from current events, history and direct feedback from our neighbors, we work to provide content relevant to people's everyday lives that is just as nuanced as the people we represent.
