Timeline:

July, 20th: Lincoln issues mask mandate, but Omaha Mayor Stothert confirms she is not going to pursue one for Omaha

Monday, July 24th: The Douglas County Board of Health unanimously votes in favor of a mask mandate.

Friday, July 28th: Due to legal disputes, Douglas County Health Director Dr. Adi Pour said she is not issuing a mask mandate for Douglas County at this time.

Specifically, Gov. Ricketts said the state would sue if Dr. Adi Pour implemented the mask mandate

Sunday, August 2nd: A member of the Omaha City Council says they are moving ahead with a masking ordinance like the one in Lincoln.
