Black Caucus to Join Juneteenth Parade

The executive committee of the Nebraska Democratic Party Black Caucus gathered Sunday at their office in the Business & Technology Center, 2505 N 24th Street, Omaha.

During their meeting, chairwoman Precious McKesson informed the attendants that she would be instructing the caucus treasurer to “cut a check” to pay for entry in the Juneteenth Parade on June 15.

The parade is organized by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in Omaha. Visit 2019 NAACP Juneteenth Parade Celebration on Facebook hosted by Omaha NAACP.

In Lincoln, Juneteenth 2019 is hosted by Clyde Malone Community Center.

The Black Caucus holds monthly meetings in preparation for the 2020/2021 election cycle.
