Candidate Forums: What Happened This Past Week. What’s Happening This Weekend.
By Kietryn Zychal
Fourteen candidates running for office appeared at a town hall forum organized by Preston Love at the Fabric Lab on Tuesday. Ja Keen Fox moderated the event. If you missed Tuesday’s forum, you still have a chance to see a debate between the two Democratic candidates running for U.S. Representative in CD-2, looking to unseat Republican incumbent Don Bacon. Alisha Shelton and Tony Vargas will be at Culxr House, 3014 N. 24th St. on Sat. Apr. 23 from 1 - 3 p.m.
NOISE live-streamed Tuesday’s two-hour forum on Facebook. A list of the 14 candidates who participated in the forum and their campaign websites is below. (Two candidate websites were not available at press time.)
